Bulgarian national participation in the international wine and spirits exhibition 'Wine Vision by Open Balkan,' November 16-19, 2023

The text describes the Bulgarian national participation in the international wine and spirits exhibition "Wine Vision by Open Balkan" taking place in Belgrade, Serbia from November 16 to November 19, 2023. Wine Vision by Open Balkan is the most important wine exhibition in Southeastern Europe. This unique event is organized under the auspices of the governments of Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania, offering visitors a new wine experience and the opportunity to explore the world of authentic wines from the Western Balkans and renowned wine regions.

The participation of Bulgarian companies is organized with the following conditions:

1. The Agency covers expenses for:

   • Rental of exhibition space (approximately 10 sq.m. for each participant).
   • Design and construction of the booth.
   • Equipment and furnishings of the exhibition space.
   • Registration and/or media fees.
   • Exhibitor passes.
   • Services, consumables, and other items within the approved budget.

2. Companies approved for participation in Wine Vision by Open Balkan 2023 are responsible for covering the following expenses:

   • Transport and handling of exhibits and other exhibition components.
   • Travel and accommodation for representatives of the company (travel, daily, and lodging expenses).
   • Declared additional services and equipment beyond those listed in the General Terms and Conditions for participation.
   • Insurance for company representatives and exhibits during transportation and the exhibition.

Participating in international fairs/specialized exhibitions represents minimal aid according to Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013 concerning the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid. To apply for participation, companies need to submit various documents, as outlined in the Rules for Applying for specialized international fairs, exhibitions, conferences, contact exchanges, forums, and events in the country and abroad organized by the BSMEPA and funded with budgetary funds. The application should be submitted no later than August 18, 2023.
